After signing up I am unable to login. Why?
When you sign up, Dance Reservations will send you an email with a verification code. You will need to click the link to verify your email address. If you have not clicked the link within 48 hours the email address you used to sign up will be deleted from the database.
-
I did not receive that email.
It could be that you entered the email address incorrectly when you signed up. You can check by trying to sign up again.
If you are sure that you entered the correct email address, you can click here to resend the verification mail.
-
I still didn't get an email.
When you are sure that you did not get an email (did you also check your spam folder?) you can contact us and we will manually verify your email.
Please be sure to send from the same email address as the one that you used to sign up.
Note that this can take a bit longer to complete.

How does the Login with Facebook work?
If you have a Facebook account, you don't need to sign up, but you can use your Facebook login instead.
In the background we make an account for you with only your first and last name.
-
Does that mean that Dance Reservations knows my Facebook login and password?
No. You login at Facebook. If you accept Dance Reservations we will have access to your basic personal data, but not your login credentials.
-
Why do I need to give permission to access my data?
This is how Facebook works. You need to give permissions to Dance Reservations, so we can have enough data to make an account for you.
-
Why do you need my email address?
Making a reservation on Dance Reservations means that some important communications are done through email.
Organizations will send you reservation summaries, invoices and possibly other important communication about the event. It is important that they can rely on this email being delivered to you.
You can trust us that we will treat your personal data with care...
-
I already have an account with Dance Reservations. Can I link my Facebook login to my existing account?
Linking happens automatically when the email address from Facebook is the same as the one you registered with at Dance Reservations.
If you registered with another email as your Facebook email and you want to use your Facebook email, please write a message to support@dancereservations.com.
-
There is some kind of Facebook error! How do I login now?
If the Facebook login does not show correctly, which happens sometimes, you can do the following:
- If you didn't login through Facebook before at Dance Reservations, just create an account the normal way.
- If you already did login through Facebook before, you already have your account in Dance Reservations, but no password set. Just use this link to receive an email with instructions how to set a *new* password.

Language
-
I have chosen my language, but still I see parts in another language.
Dance Reservations has translated as much as possible into your language. However, the organization hosting the event could use another language.
Translated and localized in your language are:
- Your account
- Dates and currencies
- Basic Dance Reservations interface elements
- Sign up mails
Not translated could be:
- Pages the organization have created
- Activities and categories in the event
- Mails coming from the organization
-
How do I know which language the organization uses?
When the language you use is not the default language of the organization, you can see something like for example 'Communication language: French' in the Event header.
Please try to respect their language when communicating to them.
